About
SisterFriends Together is an outreach ministry of Grace Unfolding Ministries, and we exist to provide a safe and welcoming online faith community for lesbian, bisexual, questioning and transgender women. It’s a place where women can share fears and ask questions in their journey to reconcile and integrate their sexuality and faith. Having been anchored in the assurance of God’s love, SisterFriends Together seeks out ways to encourage each woman’s spiritual growth and the development of the gifts of ministry that reside within her through online faith conversations, bible studies and reflections, and providing a range of opportunities to minister to others through community life here and in the world.SisterFriends Together provides original content in the way of practical resources and spiritual reflections relevant to the lives of Christian lesbian, bisexual and transgender women, and a Community Forum, an interactive bulletin board system where registered members may discuss issues and concerns related to their lives and faith in a more secure setting. Future plans include expanding the website to include audio and video podcasts and to develop regional gatherings and retreats.

The mission of Grace Unfolding Ministries is to encourage faith conversations on the topic of God’s grace as a response to law-bound religion that has resulted in untold numbers being disillusioned by Christianity and wounded by the church. To this end, Grace Unfolding Ministries is committed to proclaiming the love of God that embraces all and the grace of God that extends to all without exception or distinction. Grace Unfolding Ministries believes that grace determines everything. Grace has the final word. We further propose that human action set in motion by grace received rather than by the obligation of law’s demands will bring radical transformation and healing to our world. It is by the life and teachings of Jesus as read in the Gospels, and through our personal encounters with the Living Christ we have been persuaded. The tentative date for the launch of the Grace Unfolding website is Spring 2008.
