Church and Chores

Date September 30, 2008

This week while I’m on a brief sabbatical from blogging while tending to projects at home and church here are a few bits and pieces. . .

My favorite picks from the photographs I’ve taken over the past three years

Martin Luther’s Commentary on Galatians, one of the greatest glimpses on grace ever! Do yourself a huge favor and print out this PDF and read it with Bible in hand.

A couple fun links I’ve been enjoying recently: What Should I Read Next?, Clay Monsters, and Art Thread.

With Coming Out Day (October 11) fast approaching, go in your kitchen and make these awesome rainbow cupcakes. Can you imagine a sweeter way of letting your loved ones know you’re gay? Now get in the kitchen and start baking!

And be sure to visit all the dedicated and fine folks over on the SisterFriends Blog Roll.

See you next week SisterFriends and BrotherBuddies.

Anita would you think about leading a book study on this commentary in the forum?

DL–>I’ve always intended to do that very thing when I finally got around to opening up grace-unfolding.org though I see that still down the road a ways. In the meantime though perhaps it would be a cool thing to do as an initial run through in the forum. Good suggestion and I’ll begin some initial prep on that and will make an announcement in the forum when it’s ready to go.

I converted it to text with my handy dandy pdf to text converter. I can easily post the chapters or send you the converted text if you want.
