The plan as of the moment is to do some blogging this week but before heading into new topics I wanted to follow up to a couple recent conversations from the serious to the silly.
For the serious end of the spectrum, Newsweek has put together a good video piece on the “Gay is the New Black” controversy and I was particularly impressed with the commentary by gay blogger, Michael Crawford, who is a regular contributor over at The Bilerico Project: Daily Experiments in LGBTQ. The video takes a minute to load.
And now skipping over to the silly side of things, below are images from Saturday’s Extreme Gingerbread House Decorating Party I planned for 26 children at our church and the grownups who love them. I didn’t include any photos of the children here but trust me when I tell you there was nothing but smiles the entire morning. While I suggested to the children they put 5 pieces of candy on their house for every 1 candy that went in their mouth, I think the ratio was closer to 3-1 than 5-1. If that.
