Anita, I would go with option 2 also. Because if that was the way it was meant then we are all celbrating together. And if it was meant the other way? Then we are a BIG burr under the saddle. Of course I have been accused of being Pollyanna myself, so I feel like I am in good company.

Fornetti–> Well, I can interpret your comment in two ways. 1. You’re so offended by the thought of gay marriage that you do not believe it. To that I’d reply, you don’t have to believe the sky is blue either but that doesn’t make it polka dot, or 2. You’re so thrilled by the idea of legal marriage equality that you do not believe it. To that I’d reply, I know. Isn’t it awesome?!

I’m going to opt for 2 because that’s just how Pollyanna I’m feeling today.

Sorry to be adding my 2 cents so late, but I am truly glad that the two of you can once again go and make it “legal” but I know that little piece of paper doesn’t add anything to your love and devotion. As my partner would say, “Mazel Tov!” Hope you get to keep it legal.
I am friends with two couples who will be in San Francisco for the West Coast premiere of “Menopausal Gals Gone Wild” at the SF GLBT film fest (shameless plug). They’ll be getting married, too….only to come home to Florida where it is not only banned in statute, but the meanies want the ban made more permanent, and more far-reaching, in the state Constitution. Pray for all of us living in less-enlightened places. And I will raise a glass for you and D!
