Home and Happy
July 14, 2008
As the famous saying goes, “the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry” seems to apply equally to lesbian bloggers! While I had intended to continue blogging while in Taos, between the physical stamina required to stand motionless in position to grab the wireless connection taunting me just outside my bedroom window and the very few hours I had at the end of each very long day, it just never happened. After a week in Oregon to be with my mom followed by the week in Taos, it’s wonderful to be at home again and connecting with you from the comfort of my brown leather mission recliner with a glass of iced espresso within reach and two adorable cats lounging in the ray of sun pouring in through the porch french doors.
I should have a post up by the end of the evening, but in the meantime here are some photos from my week in Taos, New Mexico, at Natalie Goldberg’s Writer’s Workshop.

Hey Girl!
Glad to see you made it back safe and sound! It’s great to experience other places but there’s no place like home! Love seeing the pics!

I love going away and exploring new places but find half way through any trip I start channeling Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz; “There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home…”
