Mommy and Me Time

My mom made an unplanned trip to the hospital last Monday and is still being probed, poked, and prodded as I blog this by a dozen doctors, interns, and residents who all look much too young and make me feel much too old. I arrived a couple days ago to join my siblings in hovering over the matriarch and heart of our family and so ask that you indulge my temporary reprieve from posting while I attend to one of the finest women who’s ever graced this earth who just so happens to be the very one and the same who powdered my little hiney a half century ago.
And yes, all prayers would be gratefully appreciated. Heavenly operators are standing by.

Heart-felt thanks to those of you who here and on the Sisterfriends Forum have offered prayers for my mom and family. She’s home now and being pampered by all her children as is fitting for the queen that she is! We’re all very thankful for God’s sustaining grace and faithfulness in this as in all things.
