I'm definitely looking forward to Christian lesbian sexual ethics. Its an issue I've been wrestling of late. Because of the inability for most of us to get married, it kind of blurs the expectations of whats appropriate in a lesbian relationship and when.
Really, almost any subject that is taken from both a Christian and lesbian viewpoint is refreshing and needed! Thank you.

Bon and Sweetpea --> I swear I don't mean to be dense but I really want to be sure I understand what both of you would like for us to talk about here. Could you each, if time permits, give me a little more about the topics you've raised?

I'm really appreciating the feedback from everyone and any topics are game as they apply to our lives or interests as GLBTQ Christians. At the same time I want to be clear that this isn't about *ME* being the source and fount of all knowledge in any of this. What trouble we'd be in if that were the case! Rather it's about bringing topics to "the table" so we can all interact, bringing our insights, wisdom, and experience to the discussion. My intention is NOT that my posts would be the meat of this blog but that the comments section would be where the real conversation takes place. That's why this blog is called "SisterFriends-Together" rather than "AnitasBlog." :)

Looking forward to each that you have mentioned! Hmm... Jeremiah has always been one that I have been drawn to and related to. Looking forward to what you will be sharing on that one.

Suggestion for blog topic: Why do queer issues predominate church open/affirmative/reconciling efforts? As if classism, racism, or religious bigotry are somehow resorbed in sexual politics?

I've been a longtime lurker, so thanks for the invitation to pipe up.

The gifts GLBT people bring to the church (a short series)
Christian Lesbian Sexual Ethics

I would love to hear you talk about these. I also see you have some really interesting things coming up. You are a great minister. Thank you.

Oooh, I'm really interested to read on Jeremiah.

One thing I'm also interested in, though I haven't a clue as to whether it merits a blog entry (or whether maybe I should bring it up on one of the discussion boards) is the relationship between one's "being in the closet" and one being unhappily an "ex gay" (e.g., one like me who did all the right things but nothing stuck).

I guess that's more theoretical than ministerial, but I'm finding that my little pea brain needs things like this worked through in order to proceed to the next step in wholeness.
