Tuesday Time-Out

Date February 24, 2009

Due to a bit of a fever and cough accompanied by a hearty dose of “Oh, poor widdle me,” I’ve taken the day off from posting but I intend to get back in tomorrow (Wednesday) on the promised topic of Getting Ready for Love that I mentioned yesterday.

While I’ve been tending to my scratchy throat my web designer has unleashed her super high-tech powers on the SisterFriends Forum with a much needed update to the software. As of Tuesday evening this is still a work in progress but I expect the forum to be restored to its original grandeur and content sometime tomorrow. In the meantime, please refrain your chatty little selves from posting anything on the forum while we insure that all the security settings are in place and the original database with all the existing posts are re-installed.

And now I must wander off in search of another box of tissue…

    Anita,

I do hope you are feeling better this morning. Remember, plenty of rest and fluids, a little time on the couch, a good book and a little tlc and you will be back on your feet and have your fingers on the keyboard in no time.

    God Bless,

    Kathleen

Kathleen—> The sneezes and coughs are still coming on strong but with a sick day in front of both of us (yes, I generously shared my bug with my wife) I’m glad to be clicking away :)

Aww Anita, How very sweet of you to share everything with your wife. I bet she is just blessing you right now. Looking forward to the next post!

Kelli–>I can’t even tell you how thrilled she is with my generosity. What has us both bummed is that Ash Wednesday service is out for this evening. We can see ourselves getting caught in a fit of coughing just as the pastor has the bowl of ashes held in front of us. It wouldn’t be pretty.
