I have been trying to research this topic for a few months now. Right away all i found was condemnation and confirmation that what i was reading must be truth, yet it was my spirit that would not let my mind settle on the matter. I truly believe that finding this site and the ones like it, has been answered pray. I hope that one day i can approach my family with this information much like they did when they gave me the information to consider whilst still an atheist. It pains me to see such a stubborn outlook on this, even more so when I know that one of them has umm reprimanded himself for feelings that he was/is experiencing. Thank you again and i will look into the book. If it wouldn't be to much to ask could you keep me and my family in your prayers, to open our minds and hearts to the truths i know God has waiting for us. As they are in the mission field right now the meeting will have to wait, but i know its all in God's timing. God Bless. Thank you for your reply. Martin. It is a very scholarly book (Martin is a Yale professor) and thus some of his essays are a heavily academic read, but not unaccessible. This is the book I keep on my nightstand for times when I need both a reality and a spirituality check. You have confirmed my feelings on these scriptures that i have read, although i didnt know why i have never felt peace about this "side of God". I didnt fit with what he was doing in/with me, what he had been showing me. I am still seeking and asking for our God to show me the truth. I have always been of a scientific mindset and i would like to ask if there is anyother information you could share with me on this subject. If anything could you please lead me to some sort of source or way of researching this. I am a struggling with my identity right now and am seeking answers, also i would like to have as much information( sources and backing that i can show where i got the information from).
