Today is our seventh wedding anniversary. Last weekend’s getaway to Mendocino was our anniversary present to each other. D and I have already agreed we won’t exchange any other gifts and for the sake of our budget and forest conservation we’d limit ourselves to giving each other one card only rather than our usual “anniversary cards by the gross” extravaganza.

Okay fine. One gift. One card.

And one blog post with the chalky message I made long ago to woo her but only after she’d already wooed the socks off me.
