The more you eat, the more likely you are to have it. The study found that someone who eats a low-fat dairy product daily has a higher risk than someone who eats it once a week. Although it seems like a healthier option for families, mom may either want to go back to a high-fat diet or limit the amount of low-fat food her family eats.

To reach this conclusion, the researchers looked at data from a 25-year period. This included data from over 80,000 women and 48,000 men. During the study, more than 1,000 people had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. They looked at the dairy products that everyone ate and they found the link between low-fat dairy products and Parkinson’s disease. In fact, low-fat dairy products led to a 39% increase in the likelihood of them developing Parkinson’s disease.
